Students meet one day a week following school dismissal to explore the ecology of the surrounding redwood enviornment. A healthy organic snack is served at the beginning of each day, followed by outdoor exploration time, games, art, activities, and field trips. Each week a new topic will be uncovered with the help of a HOWL nature journal. These journals are full of great information, activities, games, songs, and journaling pages.

HOWL offers different programs for 1st-3rd grade and 4th-5th grade to help enrich their science curriculum.
