Kindergarten
Soil Sleuths- Soil is the base for most plant growth. Students will look up close at soil to learn what makes it so special!Seed Spectacular- Students learn through planting seeds what they need to grow. A seed dissection allows kids to look inside to see what helps from the inside to get that sprout out!

First Grade
Seed Sprouts- Through planting a seed and creating a story about their seed students learn what a seed needs to sprout.

Plants Needs- Learn what plant parts do for the plant and what each of those parts needs to work for the plants survival.

Second Grade
Soil Science- Through experimenting with
different types of soil students learn what is the best soil for plants in the garden.

Flower Power- Learn the true power of flowers as they attract pollinators from far and wide. See what they see when they enter a flower.

Third Grade
Garden Survival- A close look and listen will show students how plants and animals protect themselves in the garden.

Compost Cycles- Everything cycles and changes, even the apple you ate for lunch! Students explore the art of decomposition through compost.

Fourth Grade
Energy Cycles- Energy goes through the
complete life cycle within the garden.  Let kids tap into all the stages from photosynthesis to decomposition.

The Little Critters- Explore the world of the tiny and minute as we see their influence on garden. Identify “good” and “bad” bugs as well as explore pollination.

Fifth Grade
Soil Break Down- Students investigate what soil is made of and how they can help soil health. Soil tests and composting involved.

The Energy Store- How do plants do it? How do they take energy from the sun and convert it for all creatures to eat! Explore the plant parts to see how it all works!
